On the insistence of his parents, London-based doctor Manoj Sharma reluctantly returns to India to find a bride. When he meets Tanuja Trivedi he is instantly taken in by her and agrees to the union. But his dreams are shattered when she informs him that she intends to marry her boyfriend and in a turn of events enlists his assistance to elope with the same man.
